How to Apply

Registration Hours:
10:00 am to 2:45 pm, or by appointment
Monday through Friday

Applying for employment with Star Staffing Alpena is FREE! Applicants must provide several pieces of information to register for employment with Star Staffing Alpena.

Once your information is submitted, Star Staffing Alpena will conduct a background check. Upon reviewing the results, if the background check is acceptable your file will be secured in our system. Each registration remains active for 60 days. Following each assignment, the employee must update their registration within seven (7) days in order to remain active.

If an applicant is selected for an assignment, we will contact them and put forth an offer.

Requested Documents if applicable:

  • Current resume
  • Valid picture identification (state driver’s license, state identification)
  • 2nd form of identification (required before a paycheck can be issued.)
  • Contact information for previous employers
  • Address & phone number
  • College transcripts (as needed)
  • DD-214 (Military Discharge Papers and Separation Documents)
  • Special certifications
